MICR 1-ON1 is a distance education course. Both the lecture and laboratory components of the course will be taught entirely online. Lecture/discussion will meet live Mondays and Wednesdays 1:00-2:15 p.m. For more important additional information, go to http://www.chabotcollege.edu/online Instructor's email address is kliqian@chabotcollege.edu In addition to attending mandatory online lecture/discussion students will be assigned 6 hours of lab online. 1. Instructors may use ConferZoom for some meetings. 2. Instructors may require students to use online textbooks/laboratory websites/programs. For example: Labster. Labster simulations can only be used on laptop or desktop based computers, which meet the following requirements: System: Processor: Dual core 2 GHz or higher, Memory: 4 GB or more, Graphic card: Intel HD 3000 / GeForce 68000 GT Radeon X7000 or higher, OS: latest version of Windows (64-bit) or Mac OS, Supported browsers: Latest version of Firefox, Chrome, or Safari, a stable internet connection. 3. Instructors may elect to provide a livestream of lecture so that students can ask questions, but where attendance/viewing is not necessarily mandatory, and online lecture recordings/files will always be made available. They should contact the instructor to ask questions about the lecture style. 4. Students are required to obtain a kit of take-home lab supplies during the second week of classes in order to perform at-home lab exercises, times will be announced during the first week of classes.
