GNST 32A Social Justice Leadership 2.00 Units
Leadership practice in social justice values and methods. Students will organize, coordinate and plan advocacy events and activities to support Chabot College students.

GNST 33A Stu Lead and African Amer Expe 3.00 Units
Students will develop leadership capacity through studying current and historical African and African American leaders, as well as, practicing their leadership skills on campus and in the community. Strongly Recommended: ENGL 1A (completed with a grade of "C" or higher). It is strongly recommended that students enrolled in this class have completed at least 12 units at Chabot College, including ENGL 1A.

Development of a leadership vision, strategy and theory focusing on African and African American leaders past and present. Prerequisite: GNST 33A (completed with a grade of "C" or higher)

GNST 115 Support Writing and Reading .50 to 3.00 Units
Support with reading and writing. Students meet regularly with a GNST 115 instructor, as well as with WRAC tutors and WRAC English/ESL instructors, on a customized learning plan. This course is repeatable until mastery of skills is met, not to exceed 3 units of credit course work. This course is intended to assist and prepare students to be successful in college-level credit coursework.
